... a social worker to help strengthen the bonds between our residents and their families, to provide workshops for the families on how to cope with the challenge and difficulty of caring for their loved one with special needs at home, to provide emotional support to residents coping with difficult situations such as the illness or death of a family member, and to provide other services to the residents, their families, and other families in the surrounding areas.
... two more physical therapists to increase the amount of physical therapy each resident receives
... a speach therapist and special education specialist to work with our residents and out-patients
... a matron to replace our retiring matron
All of these added skills and services will provide great benefits to those we serve - our residents and those in the wider community. Please help us gather the resources to hire appropriate professionals and purchase the necessary equipment.
