                            Facts and Figures

The Four Homes of Mercy seeks to enhance the ability of residents to fully exercise their capabilities and live fulfilling lives. We provide services to children from 4 years old and up all the way through old age and support those who are in need regardless of the degree of their disability.

Here are some facts and figures about the Homes:
                              • We are the only organization in Palestine to offer rehabilitation services on a 24/7 basis
                              • Only a few residents’ families contribute to the care of their children
                              • Because of their economic circumstances, residents' families contribute no more than 4% of the total cost of their loved ones at the Four Homes of Mercy
                              • We currently have 75 residents, 22 of whom are children
                              • We have 68 employees who work in 3 shifts: morning, afternoon and night
                              • Our employees cover a large spectrum of skills and services that serve the wider community as well as the Homes; we average 45 out-patient consultations a month
                              • The cost per resident per month is currently about $860
