All of our support personnel are constantly busy. Our support services include 6 kitchen staff, 7 cleaners, 1 maintenance man, 1 guard/driver, 3 laundry workers, and 1 gardener.
Our kitchen staff prepare three meals (including special diets as needed for some residents) plus two snacks for residents and staff. Our cleaning staff keep the Homes spotless. Our maintenance person is perpetually busy fixing everything! Our driver repeatedly commutes with staff (and sometimes residents) between the Homes and the shops and bus stop in Bethany, bringing back supplies and staff for the next shifts. He also serves as a guard at night. The laundry personnel wash the sheets for each resident (daily, or 4 or 5 times a week) along with residents' clothing and staff uniforms. Because nearly all of our residents are incontinent, that's a lot of laundry! Our gardener takes care of the grounds - including vegetable gardens, olive trees and flowers and helps the residents with their garden (planted so they can work it from their wheelchairs).
To assist with administration, we have a General Director, two secretaries - one in Bethany and one in Jerusalem and a part-time accountant.
